Sitaram Kattel, popularly known as ‘Dhurmus’ and Kunjana Ghimire, also known as ‘Suntali’ are the most popular tele-serial actors in Nepal. They have received a wider public attention for their selfless service, determination and dedication in helping the survivors of the 2015 earthquake and the people of the marginalized community and the people who were affected by August 2017 flash flood in Terai Districts.

Immediately after the earthquake, the couple made a public appeal for helping the people affected by the disaster. They collected relief materials from the public and provided relief packages to the affected people as an immediate relief. In reconstruction phase, they constructed integrated settlements for the poor, needy and most vulnerable survivors of the 2015 earthquake in Nepal.

The couple was selected first Goodwill Ambassadors for National Hygiene and Sanitation Campaign. They also participated in the popular Bagmati Cleaning Campaign. Their active presence and participation in All Nepal Cleaning Campaign encouraged participation of many people with wider coverage in the national media outlets. The Couple has performed in more than 100 programs and shows at home and abroad. For their generous and philanthropic services, the couple has received many letters of appreciation and encouragement from the government and the community. Simultaneously, they have been felicitated and awarded for their selfless service in many occasions.
